The new Decepticon base, if anyone could ever call it that, was nothing more then a sad excuse for a city, built upon from blasted out ruins just enough to be passably livable. Conditions were grueling, dark and cramped and tensions were always high. Fight broke out several times an hour and high command was oddly scarce. The whole operation was being run by a still silent Soundwave who had been elevated from creepy spy to an utterly terrifying creeper. Hardly anyone was spared from his many minicons who watched over the inner workings of the base on a constant bases.
The area collectively called Soundwave's Liar was buried fairly deeply in the heart of the city and consisted of a mess of monitors, wires and sensors salvaged or stolen and hooked together. Each screen was actively showing all the locals of the base including most of the outside where the guards couldn't see. Silent alarms were everywhere and noone would know they've tripped one until Soundwave himself had shown up. The lair's statue like owner was nestled there, currently hooked up to at least five of the monitors. Things were in a lull thus far and nothing needed his attention right away. Fresh guards had recently been ordered outside and decent energon rations had been issued, so yes things were quiet...for now.

The mech stood facing the guards some distance away, but not far enough away he wouldn't be seen by them. he eyed them up careful analyzing them, predicating there next moves in his head head. then with slow and deliberate steps he headed for them.

Storm was directly behind him, her tail starting to tuck in from the tension. The guards both crossed their guns in front of the main gate, growling. "Halt! State your designation!"

Naga pulled to a stop in the shadows near the far wall, not wanting to be seen, but wanting to see.

Both guards looked at each other...then laughed. "You? Ha! Megatron's been dead and Soundwave's our leader now, fool!" One of them said, preparing to fire.

The Bot acted instantly. falling into a fighting stance he led with his left arm, knocking the gun off its firing trajectory then locked the bots right arm with his left. Now with the bot unable to defend himself properly, thus giving him a direct path to ram his fist into the guards face with no restriction and full power.

The one bot gagged with pain after the solid hard as the pit itself punch connected with his face. It hit him in just the right place and instantly broke an optic, making him drop his gun and wail. The other guard was caught off guard, and was effectively unable to shoot with his buddy in the intruder's grip.
"I'm warning you!" He barked, obviously stuck. "I'll call Soundwave!"

The Bot smirked looking at the other guard as he let the one in front of him fall "yes call him. i want to talk" he said menacingly staring at the guard Though knowing Soundwaves reputation he probably already knew he was here

Indeed he did. No sooner had the guard finished speaking did Laserbeak itself glide down from the ramparts. Soundwave had employed many more minicon's since Megatron's downfall, but Laserbeak remained the only one that attached to the spy plane's person. Like its master, Laserbeak never spoke, simply circling over the intruder for a long moment...before slowly gliding down and unlocking the massive gate itself then hovering in the opening. The message was clear. FOLLOW ME. Babbling slightly in surprise, the remaining guard backed off right away.

The new bot smirked and walked by ignoring the other guard, following Laserbeak

Naga slid out from the shadows, but didn't dare follow the new bot yet. He'd wait, and perhaps he'd be able to watch from this point...

The further Laserbeak lead him, more and more Decepticons showed up, almost forming a crowd in the comparably cramped spaces. Storm followed behind him, softly hissing at the weird snake thing that had followed them to the hideout. The minicon only took a small glance at Naga, noting appearance and threat level without stopping.

Naga paid the hiss no mind, smirking, and followed them at a distance, almost blending with the crowd of Decepticons.

Nephthys raised his head from the shadows as he watched the strange bot followed Laserbeak. It seemed to the large dragonbot that something was going to happen. Feeling a strange tug upon his subconscious, he stood up and began to follow from a short distance, his ruby red optics glowing faintly in the dimness as he watched the two head towards their destination.
Whatever was going on, Nephthys knew that he could not ignore such a call, especially when it involved the entire nation of the Decepticons. Even as the group walked onwards, the large mech felt a smirk pulling on his lips beneath his unretractable mask. He cared not for the wellbeing of the Decepticon cause, he was a loner at best, and he would rather be somewhere else. But the tug on his processor forced him onwards.
He bared his fangs at Storm Blue as he walked past her, threatening to stamp on her as he moved onwards.
