Sideswipe grinned to himself as he and Arcee walked into the building. All around them, they could hear the hustling and bustling of the mechs and femmes who occupied the large bar. Sideswipe felt pleased with himself over the fact that he'd avoided getting his regular checkup with Ratchet. He was no mood to get it from the 'Hatchet' today. After all, what would've been better? Sitting around being bored or facing Ratchet's wrath?
Because of being bored with relocating the Decepticons that wanted peace, Sideswipe had managed to pull aside Arcee and convince to come with him go and do something for a little while. He'd sensed Arcee's hesitation about it, but she eventually gave in and they left an hour later.
Normally Sideswipe wouldn't avoid his duty as an Autobot, but he had been getting restless, and the warrior instinct within him ordered him to go and do something else for a while. After all, ever since the war ended with Megatron's death, Sideswipe and some of the other Autobot warriors that had been born into the war had felt nothing but restlessness deep within their spark, a longing to fight again. With no one to train and no one to fight anymore, Sideswipe took it upon himself to leave for a little while.
Now that they were here at the bar, Sideswipe gestured to Arcee to go and find somewhere to sit while he went to go and get the drinks. He approached the bar and made a two finger motion, saying, "Two high grades, make them a level three."
The bartender nodded and took out two cubes of high grade and poured in a bright blue liquid that made Sideswipe's insides sing with excitement. This was the kind of stuff that got him pumped and filled with the eagerness for a fight. Picking a fight here was something he liked doing whenever he could. Once the bartender had handed him the cubes and Sideswipe had paid for them, he went back to Arcee and handed her cube to her.

Talon and her trine weren't far off. After having been visited by her never married boyfriend and the father her kids, she'd actually been more then just calm and collected, she'd been happy. In fact she felt nice enough to treat herself and the trine to a bit of high grade. All three were old enough and as long as they didn't get completely sloshed, she was alright with them. Unfortunately, all three were forced to wear cloaks to hide themselves, being factionless and all.
Thankfully though all three had cloaks made to their tastes, needing frequent use of them. Talon's was simple gray with silver wing designs on the back, stylized to look like, well...hawk wings. Poseidon had opped for something a tad more, a muted blue cloak with Greek water designs all over in deep indigo. Solaris was tan and purely Eygptian in style. Pretty much everyone noticed him because he still shined like coin even with the white cloak on. Warsong, at last, was wearing bronze and pink, styled like Earthen music notes.
Pulling the hood down, Talon quietly ordered drinks from the rest of the trine. After they had what thy wanted, they all went their seperate ways to enjoy themselves. Solaris remained at the bar and quietly watched the others while Poeisdon slunk off somewhere a little more silent. Warsong, however, instantly went for the source of whatever music was playing at the time. With her trine to themselves now, Talon allowed herself to sit in a booth, next to the one Sideswipe and Arcee had taken.

Arcee frowned at the high grade Sideswipe had given her and she shot a glare at him. "What is it with you and this stuff, Sideswipe?" she hissed angrily at him as the silver mech took a large mouthful of high grade.
Sideswipe smirked and rolled his optics at his companion. "It helps me to focus during a fight," he answered coolly.
"You fight when you're here?" demanded the blue femme. "Do you know how bad that would be on Optimus' reputation as Autobot Commander? He'd have your head and mount it to his wall!"
"Cool it, Arcee," Sideswipe laughed as the buzz of the high grade hit him quicker than expected. "I don't do it all the time when I'm here. It only ever happens when I'm VERY bored." He rolled his optics as Arcee calmed down. "Besides, I don't get bored that easily."
"Whatever," Arcee groaned as she glanced over Sideswipe's shoulder and spotted the cloaked femme. She instantly recognised the femme and smiled fondly. "Pst, Talon. Come sit with us," she urged.

Talon chuckled softly, sounding older then the last time she'd met them. She gladly rose from her seat and joined them, her hood being pulled back down as she did so. "Long time no see. Sorry I've not kept in touch."

"That's alright, Talon," Arcee smiled. "We've all been busy with things."
Sideswipe glanced at the femme with confusion, having never seen her before. But since Arcee knew her, he guess he had to make an acceptation. He took another large mouthful of the high grade, enjoying the buzzing feeling that was going through his head. Shaking it off as the sensation kicked in for a moment, he glanced at Talon and asked, "So where are you from?"
"Sideswipe, don't be rude," Arcee chided. "Sorry about him, Talon. He doesn't know the meaning of the word 'manners'. Got a few screws loose that one."

"Don't worry about it." Talon gently waved it off, taking a small drink from her own cube. "As for where I'm from...I can tell you I just got back from the Black Market. I've been running a mercenary guild there."

Sideswipe nodded. "Seems plausible enough," he said. He looked over at the younglings that had accompanied Talon. "Are those your mercanary members?"
Arcee rolled her optics, taking a quick sip of the high grade that Sideswipe had given her, but then poked out her glossa in disgust at the taste of the stuff. She didn't even know why she came with the silver mech in the first place. She then shoved it towards Sideswipe. "Here, you drink the rest," she gagged.
"Thanks, don't mind if I do," Sideswipe laughed, taking the cube from her and downing it in one go.

Talon nodded slightly. "Yes, my sons and daughter."
Poseidon was lurking near by, his protective urge towards his mother prickling at him seeing the obviously arrogant mech near her, but he did nothing more then regard them calmly.

Arcee chuckled. "How have they been doing?" she asked. "I have not seen them in a long time, not since Hawk showed them to us when you were on the base before."
Sideswipe nodded as he took another swig. The buzz in his head grew worse and then he felt the excitement kick in overtime. Standing up and ignoring the shocked exclaimnation from Arcee, he marched over to the nearest Decepticon and tapped him roughly on the shoulder.
The mech turned to look at him and asked, "What do you want Autobot-scum?"
"Just to see how tough you are," Sideswipe snarled. "You Decepticons think you're so high and mighty! I think not." He cracked his knuckles and neck, bloodlust seeping into his blue optics.
"I remember you!" the 'Con cried. "You're the one who picked a fight with me the last time you were here!" He stood up and towered over Sideswipe. "Had too much to drink again, didn't ya? Want to get your aft handed to you again?"
"The Pit I do!" declared Sideswipe and he prepared to throw a punch at the 'Con's face.

Talon frowned deeply, clearly disapproving of Sideswipe's actions, but she quickly realized that Poseidon disapproved of them even more. He moved in behind the mech like a ghost, one hand barely showing as it held his retracted trident. Then in one swift, fluid movement, he had unsheathed his weapon, brought it around one of the silver mech's shoulders and grabbing the other end, using it to effectively put him in a barred choke hold.
With deadly calm, Poseidon spoke in a deep voice that sounded oddly like Batman. "I kindly suggest that you leave that mech alone, sir..."

Sideswipe stared fiercely at the young mech, but reluctantly lowered his arm and gave the 'Con a hard stare before telling him, "You got lucky this time, punk. But next time, you won't be so lucky to have a neutral come save your metal hide!"
He turned and skated outside, doing everything he could to cancel out the effect of the high grade in his system. He didn't want to go back to the Autobots looking like a drunken idiot.
Arcee felt guilty about the way how Sideswipe had acted. She turned to Talon with a huge apologetic look. "I'm so sorry about him," she apologised. "It's because of the end of the war that he gets into fights like these. He's a soldier, not a relaxer. That's why he comes here to get drunk and pick fights. He really misses fighting."

"I understand." She said calmly as her son shook himself loose and walked over. "The cons have been doing it too from what I've heard." She turned to Poseidon. "You alright, my boy?"
"Of course, mother." He rumbled softly, not seeming offended at all. He bowed slightly to Arcee in respect. "Will you need help getting your friend back to the base, ma'am?"

Arcee looked thoughtful and smiled fondly at the young mech. "I would need your help, but Sideswipe is a stubborn fool. He's got a head as hard as titanium that one. Try to make him do something he doesn't want to is... low for him. He's prideful. Doesn't like to accept any help from anyone, especially when it concerns about his brother..."
She bowed her head slightly, feeling sad at the mention of Sunstreaker. Sideswipe hated it when someone said that name. Say it in front of him, and you risked getting your main energon line sliced in half.

"I understand, ma'am." Poseidon nodded. "I'll only help if I'm needed. But...maybe Solaris can. He's good at tolerating...less then acceptable behavior." Poseidon offered.
"It wouldn't hurt to try at least." Talon agreed, sighing.

"Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you," Arcee chuckled. "Sideswipe isn't a combat instructor for nothing."
Sideswipe paced back forth in front of the door, ignoring the stares from the newcomers as they walked inside. Frustration ate away at his systems as he attempt to wear out the effects of the high grade. But it wasn't helping much. He was exhausted from expelling so much energy in an attempt to pick a fight with the 'Con, but he didn't care. He'd obviously ruined his reputation as a warrior and the Autobot cause. What a fool he had been!
Angrily, he shouted to the sky, "Why, Primus?! Why must you torture me with this bloodlust!"
